Studio Boa is a green design+build company founded by a General Building Contractor and Artistic Designer. Our principal goal is to build beautiful and functional shelter, from whole new homes and renovations to ADU’s. As a company established and owned by women, we offer a unique view and balance to relationships between design, build, people and the environment.

What sets us apart is our attention to detail in the design and the build phase, and our galvanized commitment to protecting the natural worlds’ resources through efficient use of abundant resources, some as timeless as the sun, the earth and the wind, as well as other current, cutting edge technologies.

As a design build company, we can take a project from inception to completion. As a general contractor we work with other talented design professionals.

Established in 1988 as Boa Constructor green Building and Design, inc., we have been building community with integrity in Santa Cruz for 30+ years, while working in collaboration with other architects and design professionals. Studio Boa understands the importance of the connection of nature to the built environment, and by making informed choices we can build and live in support of a better climate future.
